Man Arrested Following Early Morning Stabbing in Hart County

HART COUNTY, Ga. – A 25-year-old Hartwell man was arrested following an early morning stabbing incident in Hart County, according to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched just before 5:00 a.m. on December 19, 2025, to Nealy Drive off Anderson Highway in reference to a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies found an individual suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Hart County Emergency Medical Services treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to AnMed Health for further medical care. The victim’s condition has not been released.

Following an investigation, deputies arrested Alijah Jaike Curry, age 25, of Hartwell. Curry was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, and aggravated battery.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Sheriff Chris Carroll commended deputies and investigators for their quick response and thorough work on the case.
