HART COUNTY, Ga. – The GBI has arrested and charged Alan James Cain, age 21, of Canon, GA, with Aggravated Assault, Family Violence, and Cruelty to Children in the first degree.
The Hart County Sheriff’s Office requested the GBI to investigate a child abuse and aggravated assault case.
On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the Hart County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the GBI to investigate the abuse of a 6-year-old boy.
It is alleged that Cain, who is the boyfriend of the boy’s mother, committed the abuse.
Cain was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Hart County Jail.
